Disability Assessor (field based)

At least two years’ post-registration experience as an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Nurse or Doctor with a licence topractise; you have a clear understanding of the clinical aspects, and likely functional effects, of a wide-range of health conditions and disabilities.

As a Disability Assessor, you will embark on a brand new and rewarding role, undertaking an assessment of an individual who is making a claim for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP). Employed by Capita Health and Wellbeing you will undertake a training programme that will equip you with the new skills essential for the role.

Occupational Therapist

At least 6 month’ post-registration experience as an Occupational Therapist, with a license to practice; you have a clear understanding of the clinical aspects, and likely functional effects, of a wide-range of health conditions and disabilities. Using your Occupational Therapy experience, you will take into account all the information presented by the claimant, including any supporting evidence and then you will carry out a consultation in the claimant’s home or one of our consultation suite.

Psychiatric Registered Nurse Chronic Pain Specialist

Understanding of the clinical aspects, and likely functional effects, of a wide-range of health conditions and disabilities. Using you Nursing experience, you will take into account all the information presented by the claimant, including any supporting evidence and then you will carry out a consultation in the claimant’s home or one of our consultation suites.

Kinesiologists

We are currently looking for a self-motivated energetic Kinesiologist who would like to become part of a multi-disciplinary team of highly dedicated Therapists and Health Professionals. Minimum 3 years’ post-registration experience as a Kinesiologist with a Master’s Degree and license to practice in the province of Ontario and a valid certification in First Aid / CPR. 
The successful candidate should be accustomed to working independently in a challenging and changing environment with a passion for delivering excellence customer service; have a clear understanding of the clinical aspects and likely functional effects of a wide-range of health conditions and disabilities. Excellent communication, analytical and decision making skills are necessary; proficiency in writing comprehensive reports within established timelines is required.
